White Collar – Where’s the Hot Lesbian?
The USA comedy-drama White Collar starring Matt Bomer (‘sexiest rising star‘) and the original 90210 star Tiffany Thiessen, begun as a sexy show with funny moments.
The pilot was spiced up by a sharp lesbian FBI agent, Diana Lancing, played by Marsha Thomason, who complemented the subtle and yet obvious homoeroticism between the two main characters, a young criminal mastermind, Neil Caffrey, and the older tinted-moisturizer-and-shiny-lipstick-wearing FBI agent Peter Burke.
After the two men become partners and tentative confidants, the lesbian disappears.
In its 15-year history TV show lesbianism has established itself successfully only in shows in which women played major roles.
White Collar is not that kind of a show.
Despite the fact that White Collar demonstrates a flair for mildly comedic sophistication commonly utilized in liberal media, it is a show which will retain its appeal among viewers who dream but don’t dare to act on their dreams and therefore typically do not approve of free spirits to whom authenticity isn’t a foreign concept.
Good Health!
