Facebook: “Phil N. Molé” - Preventing Homosexuality And Uppity Women In The Womb

Phil N. Molé: “Here’s an example of homophobia and heterosexism in action. This piece discusses some interesting research about possible biochemical influences on sexual orientation, but also discusses some rather disturbing perspectives on that research. Some of the researchers discussed here view homosexuality and even “masculine” behavior on the part of girls/women as abnormalities, and suggest that pre-natal steroid treatments might be a good way of ensuring that girls grow up to fulfill their expected roles as women. And that’s really creepy.”

Facebook: “Phil N. Molé” - Thoughts on Homophobia

Phil N. Molé: “Given the continuing resistance to gay marriage, and frequent attacks on the rights and characters of bisexuals and homosexuals, I’ve found myself thinking a lot about homophobia lately. I’ve been thinking about the reasons for this intolerance, and why it remains so common.
Among secularists and atheists, it often seems to be thought that homophobia is simply a matter of religious faith. People are supposedly homophobic because their religion tells them any sexual preference other than heterosexuality is sinful, or because they have general repressed attitudes about sexuality that stem from religious belief. But while religion definitely contributes to and enforces homophobia, it can’t reasonably be considered the cause of homophobia. For one thing, plenty of non-religious people are very homophobic. For another, religions get their characters from the societies in which they’re found, so we have to look at the norms of those societies if we want to understand where homophobia comes from.
Homophobia is a consequence of heterosexism, which is the idea that heterosexuality is the normal or “default” sexual preference…”

Health Care Is A Right, Not A Privilege

To make healthcare affordable the cost has to go down. For the cost to go down doctors, hospitals, and pharma have to charge less and quit selling stuff that does more harm than good. To make this a realistic option part of it has to be nationalized and those who wish to provide superior care should go nonprofit. Providing health care for profit, including health insurance, should be made illegal, because at the current state paper pushers are literally gambling with people’s (including children’s) lives for a buck (or a billion).

Obama's Health Plan: What Matters The Most Is Missing

Excellent article! Clearly the medical community would like to keep things as they are. Once the type of medicine you are suggesting along with regenerative medicine become widespread, most of the current standard procedures will be rejected, not just for their ineffectiveness, but for the damage they cause.

Mainstream Medicine And The Oprah Factor

Presently young people choose to become doctors for the money and the prestige. In medical schools they are taught that the human body and mind consist of parts and systems that have nothing to do with one another. Once they start practicing they don’t get rewarded to listen to and educate their patients, and most importantly they earn no income from healthy individuals.

The Bible's Vindication of Obama's Middle East Strategy

The Old Testament was written between 3,200-2,200 BP in Mesopotamia in a time when a nation could not form without a new religion. These new religions were usually hybridized native and neighboring religions which is why YHWH, the Jewish-Christian Abrahamic god, was never depicted in art.

Facebook: “Phil N. Molé” - Comparing Circumcisons (2)

Phil N. Molé: “…Katarina, I agree with some of the things you said. But let’s look at it this way. One issue common to both male circumcision and FGM is that the parents/families in both cases (moms, dads, aunts, etc) are the ones that insist on the procedure being done. So this is already an issue of when it’s appropriate for the state, or some form of regulation, to defy what parents want for their own children. There clearly has to be a compelling reason for sch defiance to happen. What would that be based on? It would be based on consideration of the rights of the child, and on the severity with which her/his life is affected and fundamental rights are violated. So, we’re forced to examine the relative harms of male circumcision vs. FGM, and that takes us right back to front…

Facebook: “Phil N. Molé” - Comparing Circumcisions (1)

Phil N. Molé: “Wishes that people (by which I mean, mostly men) would stop feeling the need to bring up male circumcision every time there’s a discussion of female genital mutilation (FGM). It might seem “fair” and “equal” to you to do so, but it’s not. That’s because the two procedures are widely, signficantly different in terms of harm done, in terms of the reasons for the procedure, and in terms of the larger cultural background of FGM, which is about controlling and suppressing women. Those who want to discuss issues with male circumcision have every right to, but they should do it without hijacking discussions of a very serious women’s issue.”

Seed: Homo Sapiens - Reverse Reality

The pronounced labia took the attention off the much feared clitoris, visually reducing the size of the demonized part that sticks out, giving the vulva an accommodating and passive look in stark contrast to the aggressive look of an erect (and often mutilated) penis, together serving the patriarchal ideology of opposite genders.

I still think that patriarchal elements were around roughly 20,000 years (depending on region). There were some early signs of violent interruption in Europe/Balkans, like the sadistic cave art image of the pregnant woman and the bull in France, etc., that don’t signal egalitarianism/matriarchy.

I did read your entire post and my entire comment was not directed at you alone as I’m sure you realize. Your reaction at this point is based on how my comment made you feel. The sciences and resulting conclusions are still highly biased and nearly never objective (and therefore inaccurate) in matters of female sexuality.

Facebook: “Cynthia Feist via Jarrett Lennon Kaufman” - Comparing Circumcision & FGM (1)

@All guys: until boys and men are universally taught that the clitoris is the female equivalent of the male penis and therefore identical in value and function, no male can possibly fully understand the physical, sexual, psychological, emotional and spiritual damage caused by clitoral castration.

Seed: Homo Sapiens - Archaic Female Masturbation

The pulling activity points out to the likelihood of ancestral women having pulled on their authentic clitorises for masturbatory purposes in the same way this is still done by males.
Because the inner labia are attached to the clitoral prepuce and together with the outer and inner clitoris constitute one organ, the pulling and resulting sensation would occur in our archaic ancestress whenever they experienced clitoral engorgement, which would stretch the inner labia due to the originally greater thickness and length of the authentic clitoris.

Great post and so true. It is sad to see how women refuse to accept facts. As an ecofeminist I feel that a large proportion of women live their lives in a slumber. Sort of like a beauty sleep of denialism.
Why is it so hard to accept the facts? Because it all goes back to us. We the women produce society. We create children, and for the most part we still raise them as mothers, caregivers, teachers, nurses, doctors, educators, voters, consumers, etc. etc…

Facebook: “Phil N. Molé” - Men's Defensiveness When Discussing Rape (3)

@Samantha: thanks for the link. I agree that the bonobo culture of everyone having sex with everyone is disgusting from a human point of view. It should be said that the females leave the group and join unrelated groups to engage with the new groups’ dominant females and to reproduce with their sons who remain with their mothers their entire lives.
Because of interbreeding that stopped only recently relative to the entire homo history (human evolution), all three, bonobos, chimpanzees, and humans not only stem from the same ancestor, but we also are directly related, and technically, to some extent, the two are our ancestors. Because of this it is possible that we evolved with a similar division between a matriarchal/matrilineal/matrilocal culture and a patriarchal/patrilineal/patrilocal one.

Facebook: “Phil N. Molé” - Men's Defensiveness When Discussing Rape (1)

@Chris: I hope that by beasts you don’t mean animals. Humans in fact are animals. The difference is that wild animals practice natural sexual behavior and humans do not. The result is the perversion of human sexuality. One example is sadism (rape, humiliation, degradation, etc.) or the intention to inflict psychological, emotional and/or physical pain. Another is masochism or the submission to sadism.

Right To Drink Raw Milk An Individual Choice

How about pushing for authenticity by restricting the term milk to raw milk, thereby making it necessary for all the sellers of processed milk to call the resulting product something else or making it so that they have to add a standard term like “This Is A Processed Food Product” to processed milk and all other processed food items.
