“The servicemen were attached to the 1st Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, which was fighting the Taliban in the Nahr-e Saraj area of Helmand when the offences took place in December 2011. The former private, known as Soldier X, who has now left the Army, pleaded guilty to two charges of misconduct. In one incident, he was filmed near a checkpoint with a child aged about five sitting on his knee. Footage showed him laughing, pulling the boy’s hand and telling him to touch his crotch.”Disgraced soldier who abused Afghan boy cannot be identified – to protect HIM from terrorists in wake of Lee Rigby murder | Mail Online
Book Review: Hillary: Flesh and Blood, Book Two By Angel Gelique
Katarina Nolte ¦ 07/12/2013
Hillary: Flesh and Blood (Volume 2) recounts the story of a happy and thriving teenage girl who loved her life and her family until her father begun raping her on a regular basis. The book is very well written and is the type where you constantly wonder what happens next. It tells a story that is fast paced, smoothly moving through time periods and the thoughts, feelings and actions (and inactions) of the characters. The initial triangle consists of the victim (daughter), the predator (father), and the enabler (mother). But I am not writing a spoiler, so that’s it in terms of the review of the story itself.
While a story like this is enormously shocking, we all know that pedophilia and particularly incestuous pedophilia fall into the category of subjects not readily discussed, because it is one of those taboo things. And, yet, it happens quite frequently in every country in world, not so much because it is a taboo to do, but because it is a taboo to talk about. If we continue to pretend it doesn’t exist or that it happens only in the rarest of cases, then it will continue to happen with the support of our collective silence.
Personally, I found the perp’s (father) attitude to be the most disgusting element, which reminded me of someone stating that patriarchy is such an old fashioned word. Well, if you’ve ever wondered what patriarchy is and what the cause of the feminist movement was/is, then a story like this is the perfect place to start. Until very recently, it was perfectly legal for grown men to rape, beat and/or verbally abuse women and young people, including children. That is because patriarchy is based on a multi level hierarchy with the highest levels belonging to aging and old men (more so if they possess material wealth) and the lower levels belonging to everyone else. At the very bottom are minors and the very poor who must first accept their place in the hierarchy and then change their true self so as to be able to climb that ladder. So you see, patriarchy’s hierarchy is a lot like a pyramid scheme. And it is for these reasons that I recommend this book and other books like it to every women on the planet.
Movie Review – The Whistleblower (2010)
Katarina Nolte ¦ 07/19/2013
Phenomenal must see movie, highly informative about the integrity of the Western-lead international institution known as the United Nations (UN).
The movie portrays one of the many examples of why a global system governed by aging and old men (a.k.a. patriarchy) proves to be detrimental to all life on Earth.
The film appears to be based on the book, The Whistleblower: Sex Trafficking, Military Contractors, and One Woman’s Fight for Justice, which is more detailed as is often the case.

Book Review: 31 Days to Life By S.A. Cameron
Katarina Nolte ¦ 09/12/2013
This teen pedo crime novel is written in first person from the perspective of the survivor. The author excels at making the distinction between the perpetrator’s and the survivor’s perspective in regard to the time they had spent together.
After the survivor is freed she raises the question of what is wrong with people? It is a question that goes unanswered. It does make one wonder what is wrong with our species that is produces such a significant portion of the people who fall under the umbrella of sadists? People who either enjoy or ignore the suffering of other people, animals, and the rest of nature, as well as those who entirely lack empathy. What is the state of our collective soul and what causes it to be that way?
A second detail that stuck out in relation to the horrendous tragedy covered in the book is that upon her return from captivity, the girl gets a tutor and tries to make up for time lost by doing all of her now old homework. In this context the phrase ‘make up’ comes up a lot with ‘make up’ referring to her compensating for time lost. The question that comes to mind is why facial paint women use to enhance their beauty is also called makeup (make-up). What is that we are making up for? Clearly, makeup does enhance beauty, but why is it called ‘make up’? What is it that we are lacking within that causes us to feel that we ought to compensate without? It is said that every 1-2 minutes an individual 12 years or older is sexually assaulted in the United States. Countless others are beaten, neglected and/or verbally abused. Are things like make up used to compensate for the lack of beauty and harmony in today’s world?
While the story’s survivor is fortunate to have exceptionally supportive friends and family, a second survivor who happens to be a survivor of incest, is not so lucky, nor is her mother. It is impossible not to wonder how many women and children lost their lives to perpetrators in the form of father and husbands who were more or less free to beat, rape, and murder their children and wives for much of human history.

“London’s Metropolitan Police last night charged the iconic Australian folk singer with six offences of indecent assault relating to a 15-year-old girl from 1980 to 1981. Mr Harris – who moved to Britain in the 1950s – is also accused of three offences of indecent assault relating to a girl aged 14, in 1986.”Rolf Harris sex charges include making indecent images of a child LAST YEAR | dailytelegraph.com.au
“Stafford prison has two separate wings for ‘vulnerable’ sex offenders”Paedophile Rolf Harris ‘moved to soft prison after being targeted by inmates’ | Daily Mail Online
Judging by the charge, there must be such a thing as a decent assault. So you have “vulnerable sex offenders” instead of child rapists and “indecent assault” instead of rape or at least sexual assault, all just to avoid the words rapist, pedophile and child rapist associated with the criminals.
