@Jay: “… women CANNOT depend on men to ‘save’ or even help them in this or any discussion. Do that, and you’ll be waiting a long time, and so will your granddaughter’s grandkids.”
Great post and so true. It is sad to see how women refuse to accept facts. As an ecofeminist I feel that a large proportion of women live their lives in a slumber. Sort of like a beauty sleep of denialism.

Why is it so hard to accept the facts? Because it all goes back to us. We the women produce society. We create children, and for the most part we still raise them as mothers, caregivers, teachers, nurses, doctors, educators, voters, consumers, etc. etc… I think that we don’t want to see the truth which is us and in us. Society is a mirror of its mothers, its women, and any woman who is active in society. Before a child develops its own identity, it does not differentiate from the self and mom/caregiver who is its first everything. So if as a result you create a psychopath, sociopath, sadist, masochist, denialist, pedophile, rapist, a remorseless hate-filled individual who is out to destroy a given element of life, then it is a reflection of who you are. And this is exactly what women do NOT want to see. Women don’t want to ‘go inside’ themselves and see the whole picture. Women don’t want to truly examine the deepest levels of their ‘inner world’, their true self.

And so the world turns and we keep seeing the results we the women create directly and indirectly.
This shows that we are the natural born leaders and as long as we for whatever reason refuse to accept that fact, take charge and create a truly healthy, functional, thriving society of factually educated authentic individuals, we will continue to fail as a species.
