@Klyde: So for equality’s sake I recommend that you educate yourself in the suggested areas. I did it and I became aware of many more things that have been going on and are still going on, all falling into the category of human rights violations with detrimental consequences for countless generations.
Personally I think you should study what interests you and once on that path you will come across information that provides answers to your individually specific questions, which is why you should discover your own sources (books, links, etc).
It’s your life, your brain, your intellectual adventure.

I think that matriarchies were egalitarian societies. That is what I mean when I talk about female leadership style. To a woman any individual could hypothetically be her child so women view society (people) differently than men and so they are more likely to be fair and protective as leaders.
I think that if women were truly free to lead no one would really notice that they are the leaders because if you create life out of your own flesh and blood you view life and living beings differently and your treatment, organization, planning, etc. are more oriented toward the greater good.
Obviously that is not what we have in present day patriarchy (which includes women who have ‘made it’ by following patriarchal rules).
You also cannot have egalitarianism without very strong mothers who are educated and aware of their power and the responsibility that comes with it.
If you don’t have that, you have people who don’t love nor respect themselves nor others because they don’t sufficiently love and respect what made them, their birth mother.
The birth mother cannot teach the child unconditional love and self-respect if she didn’t get it herself from her mother/parents/society.
It’s a cycle and far more complex than the Zeitgeist/Venus present it.

The only one (matriarchy) I know to be existent today are the Mosuo People in China.

This interview between the German Spiegel Magazine and an Argentinean author and doctor (male) tells it all. What you find is that matriarchy is very similar to the premise of the Venus/Zeitgeist project.
Men Live Better Where Women Are In Charge
You can also read books like “The Chalice and The Blade” which talks about the origins of civilization and pre-patriarchal societies of peace and egalitarianism who worshipped the earth, nature, animals, and women, based on the female principle of life creation.
Sadly, I fear that what we’ve had ever since that time has really been a clash of cultures, meaning it definitely is genetic (‘human nature’).
